Hi, experts,

My customers report an issue on AM263P4 HS-FS devices.

As security features are not needed, they skip HsmRtFw by commenting out LoadHsmRtFw related operations, then build the sbl_ospi. With this SBL, single core application can be loaded and run normally. But multi core application can not be loaded and run as expected.

I have tried in my side with AM263P-CC EVM, and mcu_plus_sdk_am263px_10_02_00_15. I get same result with customers.

Please help to analysis and guide the way to load multi core application by SBL without loading HsmRtFw.

Hi Fan,

I tried the ipc_echo_notify multicore example on AM263Px CC and LP board at my end on both appimage and mcelf format images.

I am able to load the multicore image without HSMRT loading from SBL.

May I know how did you reproduce this issue?

I don't think there should be a dependency with the HSMRT here,

We just comment out below code, to remove HSMRT loading in SBL.

Hi,

Only LoadHsmRtFw is sufficient to be commented to avoid loading of HSMRt. Can you uncomment the L2MailBoxmemory initialization API and check?
