AM263P4: TCMA restrictions for R5FSS1-1 due to i2485

Hi, TI experts.

I am digging syscfg settings of empty system project. (/examples/empty/am263px-cc/system_nortos and system freertos)

When looking at the memory region of the memory configurator for R5FSS0-1, I can see that some parts of TCMA are blocked. (TMU_TCMA_OVERLAP_BLOCKED)

The title of i2485 in AM263Px Errata is "[TMU] TCM Memory Corruption on R5SS0_CORE1 and R5SS1_CORE1 when writing to TMU Registers"

I wonder whether this blocking should be applied to the memory region of R5FSS1-1.

I moved to IPC example project and found this blocking setting exists in the memory region of R5FSS1-1.

It seems that this setting is omitted at the empty system project.

Hi Jeeuk Chang,

Looks like a bug as correctly pointed by you as well. I'll raise a Jira ticket internally to get this fixed. Ideally the setting should exist for both R5SS0_CORE1 and R5SS1_CORE1
