Hi team,

does the MSPM0G3507 have a latched mode for the output of the comparators? Is there a way to keep the output in a high state until some kind of reset like power cycle or something else occur?

Hi Felix,

What is the application? There are a couple ways to create a latched output but there isn't a specific control bit in the comparator registers to create a latched output.

Hi Felix,

There is no specific document for this. You can create an event and have the comparator switching trigger a GPIO to latch for an output, this can be done via the event system so there is no CPU interference. You can then clear the GPIO when you need to in the application.

ok got it. But there is no option to hold the comparator pin itself in a high state until it is cleared?

Hi Felix,

I'm checking for some other options, but again there is no specific bit in the COMP register for latching until manually cleared.
