Could you please confirm which specific regions of the available memory can be safely read and written during testing?

You no need to do manual testing's on these internal memories.
This device has PBIST controller to test the internal RAM memory:
This PBIST controller can do different memory pattern testing's on the internal RAM and can find out if there is any faults in the memory.
Along with this PBIST controller we also do have ECC for both RAM and flash memories, these ECC will be helpful to identify the single bit error corrections and double bit error detection in both RAM and flash memories.
