LP-AM261: Manual Reset is needed after loading images to OSPI flash

Hi,

When the device in OSPI mode:

We are loading SBL images to flash over UART(default)/JTAG (in both ways)

What is the correct way to run the loaded images in OSPI.

After power on reset/ pressing the reset button in LP, the image starts running.

But when we issue cpu reset/system it still remains in (default)UART boot modes (still CC prints coming over UART)

Is there any other way to run the loaded sbl other than manual reset (power on reset/ pressing the reset button in LP). Preferably a way from command line

JTAG is the correct way. UART will not work unless you are putting device in UART boot mode

This may be happening due to UART fallback, when application is not able to boot correctly.

No, Since ROM is responsible for booting SBL, ROM will boot at every power cycle.

You can issue a reset using the XDS debugger, i.e System reset in CCS.

I need to run that? Without doing a power cycle.

How can I achieve that?

This is not possible as I said earlier, without power cycle it is not possible to start the ROM boot loader. May I know where is this requirement coming from?

Is it possible to issue a power on reset from software on AM261? If possible, how we do it?

I am checking with our SW team if we have such an API.

Another alternative is to use watch dog to do the saem:
