I have a question from my customer about RTCLOCK register.
According to TRM(SLAU847E) section 25, the register is used to protect CLKCTL, SEC, MIN, HOUR, DAY, MON, YEAR and LFSSRST from additional writes.
My customer is asking whether PROTECT bit needs to be set to keep RTC values during SHUTDOWN with VBAT is powered.
I think PROTECT bit is simply protection against writes, so the bit is nothing related to RTC value kept during SHUTDOWN, correct?
