For Controller please check https://www.ti.com/product/AM2612. This is one of the Dual core devices from AM26x Sitara Family of devices. The ZCZ package (pin compatible across these devices) is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

AM261x device supports USB & Ethernet:

USB:

The USB 2.0 subsystem, supports the following USB features: • Operational modes: – Supports USB 2.0 Host mode at High-Speed (HS, 480Mbps), Full-Speed (FS, 12Mbps), and Low-Speed (LS, 1.5 Mbps) – Supports USB 2.0 Device mode at High-Speed (HS, 480Mbps), and Full-Speed (FS, 12Mbps)

Ethernet:

The 3-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch (CPSW0) subsystem provides Ethernet packet communication for the device and can be configured as an Ethernet switch. The device has one 3-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch subsystem named CPSW0 which supports two external Ethernet interfaces and one internal CPDMA host interface.

Can you please also let me know an alternate low cost solution for a mini-USB-host controller with x1 MII interface or equivalent for 100BASE-TX connection.

Can you please help with more details, based on above diagram, you need three ports (two external and one internal) right ? Is my understanding correct ?

AM261 does not meet this requirement ?

Hi Shiv,

I require three ports on switch. For controller only one ethernet interface needed.

AM261 seems over-qualified. If you can share an alternate (may be a with lower config/peripherals if exists) for the above requirement would be helpful.
