Organization of concepts: General PRU development vs writing SPI code 

PRU SPI:
We provide SPI example code for PRU firmware in the OpenPRU link that Pratheesh provided:

R5F SPI:
We do not currently provide sample code for R5F core sending and receiving SPI data to and from the PRU cores. I am not aware of any current plans to publish sample code for that. If PRU core that owns the SPI bus also needs to take several clock cycles to send and receive data to the R5F core, that would reduce the max attainable SPI clock frequency (PratheeshGangadhar correct me if any of that information is wrong).

General PRU training:
We are in the process of writing a lot of PRU training content this year. The PRU Software Support Package (PSSP) link that Pratheesh provided above will be replaced for AM243x by the upcoming PRU Academy.

Questions about your needs

1) What is the timeframe when the customer will want to start learning about PRU development?

We will be releasing the PRU Academy in phases. That way customers don't have to wait months to access information that is already written, and it also allows customers to give us feedback during the writing process so that we can provide better content.

2) Would you like notifications when we have a new version of the PRU Academy that is ready for customers?

Sounds good, I will make sure you get notified when we put out updates to PRU Academy!

The tentative target is to get the first version of the academy published by the end of July. We'll see if I'm able to make that happen, or if it needs to slip later into the summer.
