Hi Team,

I am reopening the related thread regarding CCS clean not deleting app images.

Could you clarify whether this is an issue with CCS? Or is it something else like the compiler?

If so, could you provide the version number in which this bug is resolved?

Hi Mari,

This has been fixed in the v10.02 SDK release. Now if you clean through CCS, it will remove all the below files on clean as well.

In the CCS example, navigate to the makefile (in debug or release folder) and see if the "clean" job includes the "GEN_FILES_QUOTED".

I tried cleaning the empty example in CCS locally and was able to see the files erase.

Yes this was a miss in the SDK. The makefiles used in CCS example come from the SDK. But the "clean" job in the makefile was defined differently for command line and CCS build.

This is from our internal Bit-bucket for MCU_PLUS_SDK. The file is also present in the SDK inside all examples by the name of "makefile.defs"

For instance:

mcu_plus_sdk_am263px_10_02_00_15/examples/empty/am263px-lp/r5fss0-0_nortos/ti-arm-clang/makefile.defs
