UNIFLASH: Error! Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'DS')

It looks like you have Forcepoint. We actually had similar issue with Forcepoint:

Can you see if the below workaround works for you:

Adjust the timeout in:

“<UNIFLASH INSTALL DIR>\TICloudAgentHostApp\src\module.js” line 161

from 60s (60000) to 90s (90000).

Above suggestion to enlarge the timeout is not fixing the issue.

Any other idea?

Does any cloud based tool such as CCS Cloud or UniFlash (on-line version) work where you can connect to the target?

I know this is a tough ask but any chance you can temporarily disable forcepoint to see if that helps?

Could you please specify the Ti server url that uniflash is fail to communicate with?

I'm working with our IT to solve it.

Can you:

1) Open a DOS command terminal

2) In the terminal, browse to: <UNIFLASH INSTALL DIR>\TICloudAgentHostApp

3) In the terminal, run the "ticloudagent.bat" file

How long does it take before you see output like:

It should typically take just a few seconds but with the forcepoint interference, it can take several minutes. How long it takes can vary depending on the environment. When I saw the issue, it took 70-80 seconds hence why I suggested a 90 second timeout. It can take longer for you. 

It took 183 seconds

After modifying the timeout to 200 seconds I succeeded to flash my device.

but this is very long time to wait for each time I need to program.

Is there additional workaround to fix it?

Please change the timeout value to something greater than that. Like 200 seconds.

I am trying to get more details from our IT department on what they did to resolve the issue on our end. Basically, forcepoint does not like the TICloudAgentHostApp folder name (or specifically the "icloud" part of the name). Some exception was made but I am trying to determine if the exception was made on our end or if forcepoint fixed it for us.

Our IT is slow to respond to my query. I also suggest contacting your IT department and letting them know of this issue with forcepoint. Perhaps they can work with forcepoint for a resolution.

Our IT are asking for the port number / url the uni-flash is using.
Please send me this information
