AM263P4-Q1: CCM Execution Issue in sdl_ccm_example during QSPI Boot mode

Tool/software:

I am working with the sdl_CCM_example provided in the MCU+SDK version 10.02.00.15 on an AM263Px device. When I run the sdl_ccm_example in QSPI boot mode. The image is flashed successfully, and the application begins execution.

However, the control gets stuck right after printing the message CCM_Example_started . The lockstep error detection tests are never executed beyond this point. Attached the image.

Hi,

When you use OPSI boot mode, do you program the example to flash which will be loaded by the OSPI SBL?

If you use the CCS to load/execute the example, you can use DEVBOOT or NOBOOT to test.

Yes I programmed the example to flash. I followed the below procedure.

A statement "CCM Example Test Started: R5F0" is also printed in console as in above attached image.

I tried using device boot mode also. But test failed. Attached the image.

Hi Madhurya,

I run CCM selftest, and test passed. The test has to be done with bootloader (SBL) and application.

The SOP[3:0] settings define the device bootmodes. When SOP[3:0]=0011b, the device will boot from OSPI [8S] flash.

The AM263P CC has a dip switch whose 4 legs are connected to SOP[3:0] signal pins. The dip switch has to be selected a proper value for OSPI boot.

You can use either UART boot to load OSPI SBL and application to flash or use the uniflash to load the OSPI SBL and application to flash.

Use Uniflash to load the files to flash

Hi Wang

When i am trying to use the uniflash to load the OSPI SBL and application to flash , I am getting as unable to load the files as in attcached image. I am using AM263P4 LP . In uniflash i have tried for both AM263 LP and AM263Px CC as device selection.
