Given that for the TMS570LS1224 SPI4 is not a MibSPI, I note that the BUFINITACTIVE Field in the SPI Flag Register gets set to a value of 1 (the value after reset is 0) and then remains at that value.
The Technical Reference Manual (SPNU515C) does not appear to document what behaviour should be expected from the BUFINITACTIVE Field in the SPI Flag Register for an SPI that is not a MibSPI.
Question:
Is the behaviour I am seeing for the BUFINITACTIVE Field relating to SPI4 as expected?
