TMS570LS3137: FEE block cannot be red and consider invalid even if it seems ok in memory

Hello,

Regarding the FEE, we got an invalid block error, even if it seems that the block is correctly written in the FEE.

The block is just 8 bytes, and has number 3.

whenever trying to read (using FEE synchronous read API) its content at startup, FEE report it as invalid, nevertheless we can see it as valid inside the FEE memory :

 

As you can see in above screenshot :

Checking job Read result :

block 3 is report Invalid, block 4 is reported valid and content (0x00800000) correctly red.

Trying to read it after or before block 4 do not change anything. (block 3 still invalid, block 4 valid)

Any Idea, about what could be the issue ?

    Hi Marc,

    Seems like block3 also have valid data and its block status also showing it as a valid block only.

    Is it possible to you to share the FEE dump of bank-7? So that i can program same data into my device and can debug the issue once at my end.

    Additionally, triggering the read of the block with synchronous read TI_Fee_ReadSync do not reports errors, but then the check using TI_Fee_GetJobResult(0) is reporting a BLOCK_INVALID and the data are indeed not fetch. 

    We first attempt to read block 3 and then block 4, tried as well to read first block 4 and then block 3, but always the same results block 4 is valid but block 3 not.

    Hi Marc,

    Can you export them into binary image so that i can program those data into my device flash and can do the debugging easily?

    Click on Save Memory option:

    Choose file type as binary:

    Now select start address and length and save them into binary:
