Hi Peter,

I can already load images and read memory using UniFlash CLI.

My problem is programming the NONMAIN memory. I could not found any information programming this NONMAIN section with UniFlash CLI.

I found project that program this section in the main app. But I don't want to add this in to my application. Because I use two separate projects. bootloader and main app.I merge these two binaries and than flash with UniFlash CLI.

Mesut,

UniFlash supports various file formats like hex and binary, so you should be able to generate a program that writes to the nonmain section on your device.

If you are using CCS IDE, you should also be able generate a .out file that writes to nonmain section only also by updating the linker file, etc.

My program shall be binary because of the manufacturing processes.

I could not generate a file that writes only nonmain section. If that can be done, please provide me an example.

If I can generate a file only for nonmain memory. I can program that binary to nonmain section after main app.

If you have a binary file that contains the data you want to load to NONMAIN memory, then UniFlash CLI is able to load that binary file.

Example:

> dslite -c <pathToCCXML> <pathToProgram>,0x41C00000

Where 0x41C00000 is the start address of NONMAIN on MSPM0G3519.

I'm not sure which erase option you want to use in this case, but that is also controllable via UniFlash CLI. So you can explore different options for your use case.
