Hi,

I am using AM263P LP. I want to run example code on MCU+ SDK for AM263P. Before I have run many project on this board without any problem. But i can't run any project at now.

For example, I imported gpio_input_interrupt_am263px-lp_r5fss0-0_nortos_ti-arm-clang project .When I click debug button, I encounter this error.

Cortex_R5_0: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x0 on Page 0 of Length 0x40: (Error -1065 @ 0x40) Unable to access device memory. Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 20.0.0.3178)
Cortex_R5_0: File Loader: Verification failed: Target failed to write 0x00000000

Hi Burak,

Can you please tell me following:

1. What is the boot mode in which you have configured your boot pins.

2. Are you using CCS20 or CC12.8

Hi,

1 - I configure boot switch for OSPI (8S) - Octal Read Mode (boot mode sw 4321 - respectively 1100)
2 - I am using CCS 12.8.1

Additonally,

I tried to program this board using UniFlash tool. When I try to download application, I get "File Loader: Memory write failed: Timed out waiting for target to halt while executing am263px_flasher.out" error.

Update,

I was able to run this program once on the R5_2 core (I get Error -1065 on R5_0 core) . On next attempts, I get the following error.

Error connecting to the target: (Error -1170 @ 0x0) Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 20.0.0.3178)

Hi Burak,

There are following problems in the approach.

1. When you want to run program, by loading the program via CCS then you need to use either DEV boot mode or use OSPI boot mode with SBL Null

2. 2nd Approach is to preload SBL and application in flash using flasher tool and then debug it using CCS then use OSPI boot mode with SBL OSPI MCELF and application.mcelf

Hi,

I tried second way. with first reset, My application work successfully. After, when I reset the device, My device didn't run application. I understand that SBL didn't work either. My switches is adjusted for OSPI (8S) boot mode.

How did you reset the device? The issue suggests that whatever reset mechanism you used, did not reset the flash successfully due to which the ROM boot fails and its going into UART fallback boot mode.

I said I did power-on reset.

Before I downloaded SBL and appliation to flash memory, I erased all flash using Uniflash tool with DevBoot mode.

Update.

When I download sbl_null instead of sbl_ospi to flash memory, My problem is solved. Thanks for supports.
