LP-AM243: M4F XiP via OSPI

Hello all,

From our understanding the M4F does not have any access to the OSPI for XiP execution, can you confirm if there isn't any way to XiP on the M4F?

We do support XiP on the R5 and M4 cores.

According to the diagram https://www.ti.com/ds_dgm/images/fbd_sprsp65g.png there is no OSPI or QSPI peripheral on the M4F core. How would it run then?

Can you, please, provide a basic example on how to run XiP on the LP-AM243x from M4F core?

Apart from this, the application which I was looking at( :system_freertos_nortos/ipc_notify_echo_system.release.appimage_xip)

mentioned in the above .cfg file has no OSPI/Flash configured for the system project.

It is the sbl uart uniflash which take care of flashing when the argument "--operation=flash-xip" is given.

Just to correct on the second point I mentioned here, I have went through the TRM and I have seen that the OSPI peripheral cannot be accessed via M4F as the Interrupts are not routed there. It is routed to R500, 01, 10 and 11.

So to summarize, M4F cannot access OSPI. FSS0_OSPI_0_OSPI_LVL_INTR_0 does not goes to M4F core.
