LP-AM261: WARMRSTN (D13) led is on by default

Part Number: LP-AM261

Tool/software:

Hi there, I was using this board and noticed that after a few days, it stopped connecting to the CCS. When I run the debug mode, it shows an error message:

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -1170 @ 0x0)

Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).

Additionally, I’ve noticed that the D13 (WARMRSTN) LED is glowing, but I’m not sure how to reset it.

  • Hi Vivek,

I would first ensure that none of the pushbuttons on the side of the LaunchPad are stuck - pressing SW1 (PORz) or SW2 (WARMRESETn) would cause D13 to glow.

Can you confirm which boot mode you are attempting to boot in? When using CCS, you should be in DEVBOOT mode. Your boot mode switches (SW4) should read 0010:

    Regards,
