Hi Team,

Can you help me to clarify some ICSS questions regarding AM261 (in ZCZ package) .

ICSS:

I was recently checking the datasheet to find some Pin information for the MII of the ICSS subsystems.

However I did not find any information on the MII.

Is this Emulated within the PRUS or is there a dedicated MAC-integrated in ICSS ?

If so can you help by sharing a possible Pinout for an AM261x in ZCZ package running 4x Ethernet over MII using the PRUS?

This is emulated via PRUs in ICSS but there is MII FIFO interface attached to PRU registers as part of ICSS peripherals.

Hi Alex,

It is possible to configure 4x MII Ethernet interfaces using both PRU cores on AM261x ZCZ package (PRU-ICSS0 and PRU-ICSS1).

I've attached a SysConfig file showing the pinout required to enable this. The PRU GPIO to MII signal mapping is shown below:https://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/908/am261_2D00_zcz_5F00_4mii.syscfg
