AM2612-Q1: RGMII TX issue

Part Number: AM2612-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM2612

Tool/software:

Hi, experts,

My customer is using AM2612 for Ethernet communication. One board failed in UDP test, while other boards work normally. Please help to comment on possible reason of the abnormal on this single board. Is there some configuration needed to be checked?

In application, UDP packet is sent every 10ms, on other boards, the packets can be received in peer device (PC) every 10ms, as expected. But on this board, UDP packets are not received.

From signals captured on RGMII pins, we find on this abnormal board, there are odd pulses in between the 10ms period. Data received on PC are also not complete.

Please help to check possible reason of this odd pulses.

All boards have same hardware and software.

On abnormal board, the issue does not happen every time. In one power cycle, if the issue happens, it always happens in this power cycle. Then power off and power on again, the issue may disappears and ethernet communication works normally. Then, after several power cycle, the issue happens again.
