MSPM0G1507: DAC self-calibration and CALSEL

Hello,

according to register description in the MSPM0 G-Series Technical Reference Manual, the DAC's CALCTL.CALSEL selects the Factory Trim Calibration Values after reset as default. The manual doesn't mention this bit when describing the self-calibration process. Is it required to set this bit to 1 before or after the self-calibration?

Hi,

There is a Driver Lib function for this.

DL_DAC12_startCalibration(DAC12_Regs *dac12)

Once run --> It will automatically set CALSEL

I want to clarify that the Driver Lib function will set CALSEL automatically. You shouldn't need to do it manually unless you aren't using Driver Lib

Thank you for the clarification. I would appreciate a clarification in the Technical Reference Manual that CALSEL is not set by hardware
