XDS100- Cortex M4

Dear all,

My customer needs an emulator for the Cortex M4, and the lowest cost is the XDS100.

However, I would like to know better the limitations he will have debugging the project..

Can it sun at 80MHz? Which are the other limitations?

Hi Letice,

I don't know of any limitations on using the XDS100. The only issue I am aware of is that the XDS100 uses a 14-pin connector and Stellaris kits use a 10 or 20-pin connector. There is a connector available to interface the two: https://estore.ti.com/TMDSADPEMU-20A-20-pin-ARM14-pin-TI-emulator-to-20-pin-ARM-Adapter-P1036.aspx or the customer can do the wiring himself.
