I'm trying to run the SDK-provided OSPI XIP example project and load/debug it in DEV mode. However, I encountered an error while loading the .out file.

Can anyone help me with this issue? If possible, please provide detailed steps to load and debug the application in both DEV mode and OSPI mode.

This example cannot be run in dev boot mode, as in dev boot mode you are running the application from RAM.

You will need to follow the steps mentioned here to run the example:

It needs to be run in OSPI boot mode because the program executes from flash and some part of code is to programmed in flashed, thus the .out load flaiure error.

What is the difference between .out, .mcelf, and .mcelf_xip files? When should each file type be used?

Also, could you provide a detailed explanation or a reference link about these three file types? We need this information because we are working on creating a CRC utility for CRC checksum calculation.

As above but with some program code placed in external flash to expand the total program code beyond the available RAM.

Hi Nilabh Anand can you guide through the steps how to flash using Uniflash utility tool, out of three different files available { .out, .mcelf, .mcelf_xip} what are the files i need to flash in NOR flash using uniflash utility.

Where can i find the SBL image and how can i flash SBL into different memory location using uniflash utility.
