Hi, we found that the MSP432P401RIPZR microcontroller is no longer available. Could you please suggest an alternative part number for a microcontroller that is compatible with the MSP432P401RIPZR?
Our requirements are:

  • Ultra-low power

  • 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F MCU

  • Precision ADC

  • 256KB Flash memory

  • 64KB RAM

      I will suggest either TM4C123 MCU that supports up to 256KB flash and 32KB RAM. if you requires more performance you can also consider TM4C129 MCU which can support up to 1MB of flash and 256kB RAM. There are also variants of TM4C129 that support 512kB of flash and 256kB RAM.   • We are currently using a manufactured PCB with the MSP432P401RIPZR microcontroller. Therefore, we require an alternative microcontroller that is fully compatible with the MSP432P401RIPZR and meets the following specifications:

    • Ultra-low power consumption

    • 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F core

    • Precision ADC

    • 256 KB Flash memory

    • 64 KB RAM

    Could you please suggest an alternative microcontroller part number that fulfills these requirements and ensures compatibility with our existing PCB design?

      Sorry, if you are looking for an alternative MCU that is pin to pin compatible with MSP432P401RIPZR then the answer is no. The TM4C family of MCUs offer the required functionalities as in the  MSP432P401RIPZR for your current design plus more features. However, they are not p2p compatible. You would need to redesign your board. Basically, there are no MCUs that are p2p and software compatible with MSP432P401RIPZR.
