Hi team,
Is there any reference design available for scaling resolver input signals to 3,3v to provide it to the AM263P2 processor? And whether AM263P2 is a DAL-B Compliance? Can you please suggest a PMIC for AM263P series

Hi Jayakeerthana,
Is there any reference design available for scaling resolver input signals to 3,3v to provide it to the AM263P2 processor?
As mentioned on AM263P4-Q1: Arm-based microcontrollers forum
Please refer to the reference designs for simple implementations. Also, any other analog front-end ICs can be used to scale down the Sine and Cosine signals to 3.3V level needed for RDC.
And whether AM263P2 is a DAL-B Compliance?
As mentioned in AM263P datasheet, the AM263P MCU is
Functional Safety Compliant - AM263Px TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Certificate
I am sorry but I am not aware of DAL-B compliance.
Can you please suggest a PMIC for AM263P series
For PMIC reference, we would suggest TPS653860-Q1. Please refer to TMDSCNCD263P for implementation details.

Hi Jayakeerthana,
Please refer to my updated answer above. Let me check with my colleagues on DAL-B compliance and come back to you in a couple of days.
Thanks,
Tejas Kulakarni
Hi Jayakeerthana,
While the development of AM263Px has been done in compliance with ISO 26262/ IEC 61508 (both of which share a close similarity with the DO-254 process compliance), we haven't pursued a separate DAL-B certification for AM263Px for DO-254 compliance.
You may, however, still analyse the residual FIT details of the AM263Px device from the quantitative safety analysis reports for any evaluation.
