MSPM0L1345: VREF internal 1.4 setting should be avail on VREF Pin?

Tool/software:

I was hoping to use the VREF internal setting at 1.4V on the VREF pin. I recognize that the design mindset probably was only to provide an external reference on this pin. However, the documentation does not explicitly state this. 

So, I would like an authoritative answer on whether I will be able to see the VREF on the VREF pin or not.

See the diagram from the TRM.... a solid line from the VREF buffer to the external pin.....sure would have been nice to have it - if the answer is negative.

I am hoping - of course - the answer is positive.

    Hi Roger,

    In section 6.3 Signal Descriptions of the device's datasheet, it is noted that the VREF signals are input pins.

    You will not be able to observe the internal reference voltage on the VREF pins.

    Here's an older diagram I found that provides a better visual:

    On another note, the M0G series has the internal VREF connected to the VREF pin and can be output as a reference.
