We are having issues programming the TMS570LC4357-SEP microprocessor.
At first, we couldn’t program it because we had an error on two pins: the TEST pin was left floating, so we connected it to GND, and the NPORRST pin was also floating, so we added a pull-up resistor.
Initially, we were getting an error 2131@0x0 saying “Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK)”. That error no longer appears. Right now, we are able to load our software, but when we try establishing any SPI communication, which we are using to verify that the microprocessor is properly programmed we see that any line is working. We check the registers that appears in the CCS view, to review if any issue was happening, and then we figured out that any register was changing and they had the initial values always. Our software is working properly in the eval board LAUNCHXL2-570LC43.I’m attaching screenshots of our schematic in case there are any other pins we might have overlooked.
