MSPM0G3507: TMDSEMU110-U to program G3507 on Uniflash

Part Number: MSPM0G3507
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSEMU110-U

Tool/software:

Hi champs,

I am asking this.

Would you please help confirm, if the user wants to use TMDSEMU110-U to program MSPM0 series like G3507, what pins from TMDSEMU110-U should they use?

1. Are SWDIO (Pin1) and SWCLK (Pin11) from the two signals below?

2. We are confused, what is used for NRST?

Is it Pin 2 (nTRST) or Pin 15 (nRESET)?

3. What pins from XDS110 should be used as 3.3V/GND for G3507's VSS and GND?

It's not clear which pin is 3.3V from XDS110?

Would you please confirm?

  • 1. Are SWDIO (Pin1) and SWCLK (Pin11) from the two signals below?

    Yes

    2. We are confused, what is used for NRST?

    nRESET Pin 15

    3. What pins from XDS110 should be used as 3.3V/GND for G3507's VSS and GND?

It's not clear which pin is 3.3V from XDS110?

    GND is needed.

If M0 need power from XDS110, then need to connect 3.3V.

Make sure customer's PCB support directly input 3.3V to MSPM0's Vcc pin.

[W] Yes, they want to supply 3.3V from XDS110.

What pin/signal should they use for 3.3V here?

  • [W] Yes, they want to supply 3.3V from XDS110.

What pin/signal should they use for 3.3V here?

    VTREF is the power supply.

Make sure it's 3.3V before connect to M0 Vcc.
