UNIFLASH: uniflash dependency libgconf-2-4 no longer exists on latest debian / ubuntu

Tool/software:

Ubuntu 24.04 and Debian 13 no longer have a package for libgconf-2-4.

Can you evaluate if it is easy to drop this dependency?

    Hello,

    libgconf-2-4 used to be a dependency for the debugger used by older versions UniFlash. I believe new versions do not have this dependency. I was able to install and use UniFlash 9.3 on Ubuntu 24.04 without issue. The installer did complain that I don't have libgconf-2-4 installed but I ignored it.

    I'll need to confirm with engineering but I believe this is the case.

    Hi, that is correct. I was doing a unattended install and only got the error message, so didn't notice it actually went past it and installed it.
