MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM263PX: CCM Self Test Error Forcing Mode

Part Number: MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM263PX

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am working with the AM263P-CC board and have a question regarding the CCM self-test error forcing mode.

The AM263P TRM and register addendum state that the key value for CCM self-test error forcing should be 15 (1111). However, in SDK 10.02.00.15, I've observed that a key value of 9 (1001) is being written for this same purpose.

When I run my code with the self-test error forcing enabled, I am not seeing any changes in the CCM Status register (CMSR1) or the ESM Error Status register (ESM_ERR_STS). The bits are not changing as expected based on the forced error.

Could you please clarify which key value is correct for enabling the CCM self-test error force? Additionally, could you provide some guidance on why the status registers are not updating as expected when the self test error forcing is active?

  • Hi TI team,

Can you please answer to this query to understand how to perform test in Self-Test Error Forcing mode as per below mode? We have tried writing 0x15 in CCMR_CCMKEYRx Register and ESM status. However, the CCMR_CCMSRx register read back as 0x00 Is this behavior correct? But where in SDK code, key is written with 0x9 for Self-Test Error Forcing mode and then waits in a loop to read the status of CCMR_CCMSRx Register. This implementation in the SDK does not appear to align with the description provided in the reference section below. Could you please confirm this?

  • Hi,

We would also like to better understand what exactly happens during the Error Forcing and Self-Test Error Forcing tests. Please share your insights on these tests.
