LP-AM243: My custom board: have TMC129 chip from distribution,they come blank, so Windows won't see any COM port ? How to program it ?

I have a LP-AM243 some how , It can not detect the COM port, how to use TMDSEMU110-U to program it back ? Also on the board you have very small test point TP15,TP16,TP17,TP18 for TMS,TCK,TDO,TDI. What adapter can you connect it to.

Also any instruction , how to program this device so it can detect the COM port,

Hi,

Please follow the steps mentioned at EVM_SETUP_PAGE to setup the EVM.

Also please install the UART to USB driver from FTDI to see the COM ports.

I checked and follow mentioned at EVM_SETUP_PAGE to setup the EVM.

and test. It will work with any board LP-AM243 from TI.

This is new board ,that I got the Gerber file from TI and I used your gerber relayout. I need to instruction how to install firmware to new boards.

Do I need to use the XDS110 or XDS200 Debug probe to JTAG

to install the firmwave. ?

Hi Thien,

The method to initialize the SOC will be same for TI AM243x-LP or custom AM243x-LP. On TI EVM we have inbuilt XDS110 debugger circuit which allows to debug the program by connecting to it via CCS.

In your custom board what is the JTAG interface? The AM243x-LP supports both XDS110 and XDS200 debugger.

I used 100% TI LP-AM243 schematics, This have inbuilt XDS110 debugger , So I want to load firmware for XDS110 debugger to my board. Please show me instruction or .bin file for XDS110. ****** I need to install XDS110 firmware *************. Or if you have custom chip XDS110, Please let me know the part number for this IC.
