Hello,

I have a SW that runs perfectly fine with CAN HS

I need to convert it to CAN FD, at least to have the compatibility with a CAN FD network

i activated the CAN FD option in Sysconfig but i have evidence that it still sends CAN HS frame

I see that there is an interrupt to handle CAN FD, unused

Is there an example that I could use, please,

Hi,

You could directly refer to our SDK CAN examples, they are based on CAN-FD mode. The key is to enable CAN-FD, and configure Arbitration Bit Rate and Data Bit Rate as different.

Thanks a lot. It's the example I used

Can you show me the exact configuration necessary in sysconfig, please?

In MCAN I activated "enable CAN FD mode" - arbitration bit rate is 500Mbit/s and data rate 2Mbit/s

Is there anything else I have to do?

I had bypassed the CAN FD parameter in a reworked code
