MSPM0C1103: jflash cannot flash the mcu before the MCU programed by CCS

Hi Joe,

I haven't heard of this before. Was the device brand new when this happened? Or did the .hex file changed after the first time it tried to load to the device?

Sorry for the delay, the 1st week of OCT is China national holiday, so I just back to work today.

here is the update in customer side:

Case 1:

Step1. Generate the hex file(1) with 16bit memory width, 

Step2. program the hex file(1) with Jlink+Jfash, the firmware cannot work properly

Step3. Change hex file generation setting to 8bit memory width, then generate hex file(2)

Step4. program the hex file(2) with Jlink+Jfash, Jflash will report the issue and hex file(2) cannot be programed.

Step5. program the hex file(2) with Jlink+CCS, CCS can program the updated firmware.

Step6. keep hex file generation setting as 8bit memory width, then generate hex file(3)

Step7. program the hex file(3) with Jlink+Jfash, Jflash can program hex file(3) properly.

Case 2:

if customer use Jflash+Jlink to program a blank device, it can work well.

Hi Joe,
I see. Can you elaborate of what not working properly means in Step 2, and also the error of not being able to be programmed in Step 4? Also, can you check if the customer can program a device like in Case 2 if a factory reset is performed?
