MSPM0G3507: SPI/DMA Comms between MSPM0G3507 and ADS131M08

Hi,

1) We have examples that show how to use the SPI with DMA: spi_peripheral_repeated_fifo_dma_interrupts

2) If your files are designed for a different MCU, then it may be required to create new ones.

3) There is some SPI functionality within Zero Code, but we don't have examples specific to the ADC131M08

The TIDA-010243 Design Guide (TIDUF25A) p. 1 claims that the code for the MSPM0 is in the SDK.

I found some pieces in the energy_metrology folder, including HAL code for the G-series and the L-series, and something for the ADS131M0x series. I didn't find any import-able projects, so you may have to write a main() program to glue things together.

On my system this is in 

C:\ti\mspm0_sdk_2_06_00_05\source\ti\energy_metrology

Thanks for your help.

I'll examine and test the three SPI module options available in the MSP Zero Code Studio to see whether it is possible to synchronize the LP-MSPM0G3507 to the ADS131M08EVM, then, use the MSPM0G3507 to fetch data, via SPI, from the ADS131M08, running the ADS131M08EVM continuously, or some other method of synchronization.

Is it possible to view the data buffer within MSP Zero Code Studio?

Yes, that is what I was looking for in CCS; thank you for the tip.

This gives us a second development option (CCS vs ZCS).  I'll dig through the code to see about how to glue things together, to synchronize the MSPM0G3507 [MCU] to the ADS131M08 [ADC], then have the MCU fetch data from the ADC via SPI, using CCS.
