MSPM0C1103: programming tools

Part Number: MSPM0C1103
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CODECOMPOSER

Tool/software:

Hi,

The programming of these ARM controllers, both M0 (C-L-G) and M33 is also done with CodeComposer (C or C++), or it is necessary another environment?

Is it possible to pre-program them and send to customer already programmed?

Also, how do KEIL, IAR, Theia, Eclipse relate with our M0 prhgramming?

BR,

Antonio

  • Hi Antonio,

For the MSPM0 and MSPM33 devices, it is recommend to use Code Composer Studio (CCS) for development, but users are also able to use other IDEs such as IAR and Keil.

CCS has two main versions: v20 and v12. v20 used to be called CCS Theia and v12 is an Eclipse-based IDE. We no longer recommend CCS v12, as CCS v20 is now available.

Normally a third party may handle the programming of the device, however in some circumstances we can also handle pre-programming. If you could share the opportunity, we can evaluate the situation.

Here is the MSPM0 MCUs Development Guide for reference.

    Best,

    Owen
