Hi,

We’ve received an inquiry from the customer. Please help to answer their question below.

This is a question regarding FLASH writing.

When booting from the sbl_ospi.release.hs_fs.tiimage included in Motor Control SDK v11_00_00_06 after writing it to FLASH, the system stops at the following log output:

DMSC Firmware Version 11.0.7--v11.00.07 (Fancy Rat)

DMSC Firmware revision 0xb

DMSC ABI revision 4.0

---

On the other hand, when using the same image (sbl_ospi.release.hs_fs.tiimage) from Motor Control SDK v09_02_00_12, the system continues beyond the above log and boots as expected.

Has the image included in SDK v11_00_00_06 been verified to work correctly?

If so, could you please advise on possible causes for the system stopping at this stage when using the v11 version?

Then it should work out of the box, please ask them to share the SBL OSPI they are using.

Hi Meet,

They have an additional question for your test.

How much size of test image did you use?

gAppimage looks too small to load the image which size is more than 256KB. The size of our developing image is about 400KB or more.

I tested with the default IPC SYSTEM example, and the size of the application is around 146kB.
