AM263P4-Q1: ADC input protection

Dear Experts,

I have a question regarding the ADC pins of the AM263P4-Q1 and its protection.

The Technical Reference Manual states, that each ADC pin has a CMPSS connected in parallel:

The Specification of the CMPSS states a Failsafe Input Current Injection of 10mA:

Does this mean that each ADC pin can whithstand up to 10mA when loaded whith voltages higher than VDDA or are we misinterpreting the data?

Chris,

This specification means that the comparator can tolerate up to 10mA of current being forced into its inputs without damage or malfunction. It ensures the IP remains operational even if the input signal exceeds the supply rails.

According Figure 7-95 the ADC and comparator share their input pins.

This means the ADC input pins also remain operational if the input signal exceeds the supply rails with an input current <10mA.

Is this correct?
