Hello TI,

We are currently using CCS to compile and flash Sensorless FOC PMSM Motor Control examples on LP_MSPM0G3507 and we will be moving to MSPM0G3506 would like to start using Keil instead.

Questions are:

-When can we have the examples supported for the MSPM0G3506 version?

-Is it planned to migrate the examples to Keil?

-Is the XDS110 a must to run the FOC example or how we can use the J-Link JTAG with the library examples for flashing/debugging?

You can directly use the M0G3507 example, and modify the cmd files to define the proper flash range:

There is no other difference between these two.

No, as far as I know, we only support CCS version.

XDS110 is not a must debugger. In CCS, we support J-Link to debug (this requires user to select the SEGGEER JLINK support when they install the CCS).

Thank you for response.

And to use Segger J-Link with CCS in LP_MSPM0G3507, do i also need to connect it to J103 only or i need to disconnect J101 debug probe jumpers ?

Hi Shehab,

J101 should disconnect at first.

Then you can use J103, or use the low side of J101 connected to J-Link.
