Hi,

In the TMS570LS20216, how is ECC organized in the data ranges 0x08400000-0x08427FFF?

I would like to test a 1-bit ECC error on the last 64-bit word of RAM, and I'm not sure how to corrupt (i.e. flip a bit) on the correct RAM ECC address, or what the correct RAM ECC address would be for this test.

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Juan,

RAM ECC organisation is similar to Flash ECC, you can refer section "8.5.3.5 ECC Memory Map" in the Technical reference manual.

As mentioned in the TRM " Section 4.2 RAM Memory Map" using RAMCTRL register you can enable access to RAM ECC parity location, you can flip the bit and check ECC.
