Could you please elaborate on your use case?

We have previously had customers use two SIL2 AM243 SoCs together to achieve a SIL3 safety level. Would that be a feasible solution for you?

How can two SIL2-rated AM243 SoCs be combined to achieve a SIL3 safety level?
If we use two SIL2 AM243 SoCs in our design, do we still need to obtain a separate SIL3 certification?

Why is the SIL3 safety level not supported for larger SDRAM memory?

There is a functional safety concept example in the safety manual you can refer. It may not be a direct reference for your use case but you can take a look at it.

Yes, you would have certify your system and software.
