LP-MSPM0G3519: Unable to Connect MSPM0G3519 Board After Flashing

Part Number: LP-MSPM0G3519
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi TI Team,

While flashing the .hex file, I encountered the following error for the first time:

JTAG Communication Error: (Error -1001 @ 0x0) Requested operation is not supported on this device.

JTAG_Communication_error (1).png

After stopping the debug session and trying to reconnect, I started getting the following error:

CS_DAP_0: Error connecting to the target: DAP Connection Error. This could be caused by the device entering low power mode. Try forcing an external reset by pressing the 'Force Reset' button. If the error persists, try:

  1. Invoking BSL

  2. Performing a DSSM Mass Erase

  3. Performing a DSSM Factory Reset

I tried all the above options (1, 2, and 3), and also executed the FactoryReset_Auto script available in the CCS window, but I still get the same error.

After this, I was unable to connect to the board. Could you please help me understand:

  • Why this issue is happening?

  • How to avoid it in the future?

  • How to recover the board and bring it back to its original state?

Thanks & Regards,
Kasirajan C
