LP-MSPM0G3507: The function meaning in Universal FOC

Part Number: LP-MSPM0G3507
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPM0G3507, DRV8329

Hi Team,

Our customer have some questions regarding focHALInterface.c in Universal-foc_DRV8329_LP_MSPM0G3507_nortos_ticlang as following, need your help to comment it.

What does voltageSector : SECTOR_1 (Max A, Min C), SECTOR_2 (Max B, Min C), SECTOR_3 (Max B, Min A) , SECTOR_4 (Max C, Min A) , SECTOR_5 (Max C, Min B) , SECTOR_6 (Max A, Min B)

stand for?

Thank you for your help in advance!

  • Hi Eason,

This is the single resistor algorithm, user should take care of the mid and min duty phase and make sure there has enough sampling window for ADC channel.

For example, for sector_1, it is phase A has the maximum duty and phase C has the minimum duty.

Then, the single shunt resistor should consider whether enough sampling window to sampling the bus current two times.

Below app note will give the overview of the reason there need manually process the duty cycle of max, mid, and min phase.
