I am checking with our software team to see if there is a tool for this, but I do believe moving all of the dependencies manually from the SDK is the only way.

But it is not easy readable.

There is no specific such page for CCS 20. However, please note that the integrated GIT functionality in CCS is based on the similar functionality for VS Code. There may be such resources for VS Code which can apply to Theia IDE (and hence CCS).

Note that we are adding functionality to be able to refactor a project so that linked source files will be copied to the project folder for easy export. This would help in the above use case where just files from an SDK that linked to the project can be copied to the project folder and check into version control. Note that this only applies to linked for files and not for dependent header files referenced by source files which search paths specified in the project properties. Does this look like something that will work for the customer?

Initial functionality will be added in the CCS 20.4 release coming end of month.

this feature can only be use in case you are importing a SDK example. You can use it within a used CCS project, right?
Do you know other VS-code tools which can do that?
Customer don't want to download and VCS control complete 2GB SDK!

Not just SDK examples but pretty much any CCS project that has linked source files physically outside the project folder.

Linked files are typically something more specific to CCS projects so I'm not sure about other 3rd party VS code based tools. They may be available, I am just unaware of them.

Hi Holger,

When you compile a code example it maps the files out in the .map, they could see which files they need from there. But to be honest, sounds like a lot of work for them. I'd recommend just grabbing the DriverLib folders and the devices folders.
