Hi all,

Customer noticed an ARXML Format Error (Invalid Characters) caused a project loading failure in DaVinci Configurator within the Port plugin’s ARXML file: the ShortName in it contained invalid parentheses (), which violate AUTOSAR naming rules (valid characters are [a-zA-Z0-9 _-]).

Customer could manually edit the Port_TI_MSPM0Gx51x.arxml file and replaced the parentheses with underscores (_) to allow the project to open and proceed with configuration.

There may be more occurrences of this issue. All should be fixed.

Hi,

The parentheses comes by default from the package naming convention that we follow. We currently validate our plugins with only EB Tresos and we didn’t see any loading failures with EB Tresos Studio 24.0 with which we were able to use the plugin to generate Port_Cfg.h and Port_PBcfg.c files. If this is a must have for your project integration, we can consider changing parantheses to underscores.
