MSPM0L1117: why the Alternate BSL Address in mspm0L1117 is 0x20C0?

Hi,

I check the example project "secondary_bsl_uart_LP_MSPM0L1117_nortos_ticlang" in sdk 2.6.0.5.

I found the Alternate BSL address starts from 0x20C0 in cmd file. Why is not 0x1040 as MSPM0L1306?

FLASH_SBSL_INTVEC(RWX) : org = 0x00002000, len = 0x000000C0,

FLASH_SBSL_START(RWX) : org = 0x000020C0, len = 0x00000040,

FLASH_SBSL(RWX) : org = 0x00002100, len = 0x00001600,

I need to modify the cmd file in application project as below, right?

FLASH (RX) : origin = 0x00000000, length = 0x00002000

FLASH2 (RX) : origin = 0x00004000, length = 0x0001BFF8

Hi Frank,

The BSL plugin can be stored in any valid main flash memory region.

For your second question, are you trying to change the location of where your application runs?

We have an App Note for our Flash Dual Bank Feature in MSPM0 Family. This will include how to utilize both banks and provides example files for setting up a linker file and application code for being run at different locations.
