AM263P4-Q1: Efuse ECC logic self-test

Part Number: AM263P4-Q1

Is Efuse ECC logic self-test supported by the SDK?
Also, in the Functional Safety Manual (SPRSPB7_AM263P_Safety_Manual), section 6.3.9.3.1 states: ‘This self-test is run during the boot-up automatically by Hardware. Any error found is indicated through ESM.’
How should ESM be configured and how can fault injection be performed?

  • Hi Imaoka,

I answered this question already on excel provided by Kawasaki,

I am providing same response here as well for reference:

Fault injection can not be performed for Efuse as they are one time programmable.
The eFuse self-test is automatically executed by the hardware during the boot process. The result of this test is stored in the corresponding ESM status registers. After system completes the boot sequence and control is passed to the application, the ESM interrupt sources related to eFuse can be enabled. If any error was detected during the self-test, the corresponding ESM interrupt will be triggered immediately once the interrupts are enabled.
