Yes, you would need some Signal conditioning amplifier between the external hardware Resolver and the MCU. The AM263Px MCU can only accept Resolver signals of range 0V to 3.3V as seen in the datasheet.

This would not be the best way of using the RDC module. As seen in AM263P Technical Reference Manual, the RDC has its own two ADCs(ADC_R0_AIN[3:0] and ADC_R1_AIN[3:0]), which is the only way of providing Sine and Cosine signals to the RDC module for processing. The ZCZ-C package variant of AM263P used in LP-AM263P does not have these input RDC pins brought out.

We currently do not have this EVM board yet. I am not an expert in AFE(Analog Front Ends), but I would suggest have a look at products like LDC5072-Q1 or the https://www.ti.com/product-category/sensors/specialty/inductive-sensor-afes/overview.html section on ti.com.

Yes, single ended SIN and COS signals can be provided. Please ensure these are withing the "Input Conversion Range" as mentioned earlier. The SIN and COS amplitudes have to be within 0 to 3.3V range.
