Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430WARE
I downloaded MSP430Ware_3_80_14_01_setup.run to an Ubuntu VM and made it executable. When I ran it, the result was 'bash: ./MSP430Ware_3_80_14_01_setup.run: No such file or directory'. When I run it in a much older Ubuntu VM, it runs ok. (It starts by displaying a user agreement.) I think the new VM may be missing a directory or some resource that this bash script depends on. I could provide the required dependency if I new what it needs. I hope to learn what that is.
P.S. This is a follow-up to CS3094519. I am trying to post it to E2E.
