TMDS273EVM: Debugging TMDS273EVM with 560v2

Hello,

I am using the following setup:

  • TMDS273EVM
  • mcu_plus_sdk_am273x_09_02_00_60
  • CCS 20.2.0
  • BlackHawk 560v2
  • gpio_led_blink_am273x-evm_r5fss0-0

I am trying to debug this project with the 560v2 by changing the ccxml connection setting to "Blackhawk XDS560v2-USB System Trace Emulator". I have the EVM S1 switch to JTAG_MUX and the 560v2 to J7 connector of the EVM.


  1. I am getting this error when im trying to debug:
    CS_DAP_0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -180 @ 0x0) The controller has detected a target power loss. The user must turn-on or connect the power supply for the target. (Emulation package 20.2.0.3536) 
  2. Can i also use the System Trace function of the 560v2 with this EVM? I see that the System Trace signals are routed to the J19 of the EVM, but no such adapter is provided.
