Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS,
Are there any MCASP drivers for the DSP on the L138? Either in starterware, DSPBIOS/SYSBIOS/RTOS?

Hello Jonathan,
We can no longer provide software design support for OMAP-L138. You can refer to this announcement for potential resources:
Notice regarding Processor SDK TI-RTOS for AM335x, AM437x, OMAP-L13x, C674x, K2G, AMIC110, AMIC120 devices
If you are interested in developing on OMAP-L138 without TI support, you can find the SDK documentation along with the SDK downloads in the "software develoment" portion of the product page: https://www.ti.com/product/OMAP-L138#software-development
If you would like suggestions on more recent TI devices that may be a good fit for your usecase (where we are able to offer design support), please tell us more about your usecase. It sounds like you are doing something with audio?
Regards,
Nick
Thanks Nick, A customer of ours is trying to use our L138 SOM to do some audio processing in the DSP.
We have considered moving them to the AM62A but as far as I'm aware TI doesn't support using that DSP for anything outside of AI.
Jonathan
Feel free to reach out to us through your field team or Andrei Aldea
At some point in 2026 we will have a broader offering on ARM+DSP with AM62D family
You can find the datasheet for the automotive variant (focused on automotive amplifiers) here
