MSPM0G3519: switch from Syspll hfclk to sysosc

Part Number: MSPM0G3519

Hi TI,

I am working on MSPM0G3519 controller , i have initaly configured CLK on HFCLK using External Crystle 16 MHz. also used SysPLL to configure CPUCLK, MCLK, UPCLK. but i want to fallback to use SYSOSC and to genrate clock for CPUCLK, MCLK, UPCLK. dont want to use  SYSPLL to config ,because i am working on defect SYSPLL Frequency may not lock to correct frequency when enabled , if SYSPLL frequency not lock properly i want  CPUCLK, MCLK, UPCLK fallback and work on SYSOSC .

  • what configuration setting i want to do to fallback.
  • can you provide me steps?
  • and how can i veryfy if it switch back on SYSOSC.

  • Hi Prajesh,
You should be able to change configuration of the device's input oscillator using any of our Crystal and regular oscillator examples. Please keep in mind the requirements need it for this based on the TRM instructions on how to set up either the crystal or internal oscillator.

    Best Regards,
